How do I send reference videos to creators?
Show creators the style you want with reference videos — from the Inspiration library or from videos you've already received — when creating a project or in the chat.
Reference videos are the quickest way to show a creator the style you're after. You can add them when you create the project or send them in the chat at any time — from the Inspiration library or from videos creators have already delivered to you.
🎬 When creating a project
Go to the content step
In New task, scroll to Inspiration videos (optional, up to 3).
Click Add videos
Pick from Saved ideas (videos you or your team saved in the Inspiration library) or Previous videos (videos creators delivered and you approved).
Done
Creators see the videos together with your brief.
Shortcut
On the Inspiration page, click Create task from this video to start a project with that video already attached.
💬 In the chat with a creator
In the project chat, click Inspiration video to open Send an inspiration video. You can browse inspiration, choose a saved idea (yours or Shared by your team), or reuse one of your Previous videos. Preview it, click Use video and send it with your message.
💡 Tips
- Say what you like about each reference — the hook, the pacing, the setting — so the creator knows what to take from it.
- Save videos you love on the Inspiration page as you go, so they're ready when you need them. The Inspiration library
- References are inspiration, not a template: the creator still films in their own style.
